In this lesson from the Applied Accessibility section of freeCodeCamp, we look at the footer element. The footer element usually is placed at the bottom of the page. The footer contains copyright information as well as related links and documents. We learned in previous lessons that a second nav bar is not neccessary in the footer as in the header. We also learn in this lesson that the footer landmark allows screen reading devices the ability to quickly navigate to the footer. The footer element is similar to the nav, and header, article, main, and section, as it allows us to give more semantic meaning to our content.
