In this video, we look at the last lesson for freeCodeCamp's Applied Accessibility section. This lesson further explains tabindex with a simple lesson. If we want to set specific tab order, we can do this by giving the tabindex attribute a numerical value starting with one. The next element we want to be able to tab to would receive a tabindex of 2. This goes on in the order that was specified! Using tabindex properly makes those keyboard-only users able to navigate easily through a website. Correctly using tabindex is vital for any web site in 2020 and even forever after that.
