In this lesson from freeCodeCamp's Applied Accessibility section, we look at giving our anchor tags, or better known as links, descriptive text. One might be tempted to throw an anchor tag around the text which says something like "click here". This is not the best thing to do, since "click here" does not really describe what we are clicking. Instead of wrapping our anchor tag around a more descriptive and meaningful text would help those with screen readers. A feature available to those with screen readers is the ability to skip to (or even over) certain landmark elements. They are able to skip to the main content as well and as this lesson shows, they can skip seeing the available links of a page.
