This is the twenty-first mission of the Derelict campaign for Freespace 2. The Shivan armada is on the move towards the Tau Sigma jump node. Now joined by a Ravana class destroyer, the SD Azathoth, the Shivans have more than enough firepower to devastate any GTVA system they can reach. We must thin them out as much as possible in a fighting retreat through the frontier systems. All GTVA forces are withdrawing from Phi Eridani.

Combat engineers are placing a network of Mjolnir remote beam cannons at the Tau Sigma node while a demolitions crew plants a Meson bomb near the Shivans' likely entry point. While this is enough firepower to stop a destroyer in its tracks, with three destroyers and a flotilla of escorting smaller ships, this will only slow the Shivans down. Our task is to escort the remaining vessels out of the system and maintain the Mjolnir network for as long as possible, inflicting as much damage as we can on the Shivans.
