Freespace 2: Phantoms - Strange Bedfellows
0This is the fourth mission of the Phantoms campaign for the Freespace Port. It is early 2335 at the close of the Terran-Vasudan War and the dawn of the Great War against the Shivans. We occupy the character of a Terran pilot assigned to the GTD Amadeus. We are in the Vega system, facing off against the mysterious new fighters that have been attacking all over the system. We have intercepted a distress call from the PVD Temperance, which has made an emergency jump to escape an attack from the unknowns and is now crippled and attempting to abandon ship. Command has decided to send our wing to cover the evacuation as a gesture of goodwill, though we still do not have any weapons effective against the unknown fighters. Hopefully this can lead to a ceasefire with the Vasudans and allow us to refocus on the new threat.
