This is the fifth mission of Shrouding the Light for the Freespace Port. We occupy the role of a junior Vasudan pilot freshly reassigned to the PVD Guardian about a year after the Lucifer's destruction and the severing of the Sol jump node. We have been reassigned to the 13th Battlegroup in Deneb to combat the Hammer of Light forces in that system. The rebel cruiser Throckmorton that escaped our blockade in the last mission has been located and the Directorate has ordered an immediate strike. The GTA wants to be the ones to get the kill, though, so we are flying fighters and deploying to escort the GTA cruiser GTC Righteous Fire.
