This is the twelfth mission of Shrouding the Light for the Freespace Port. We occupy the role of a junior Vasudan pilot freshly reassigned to the PVD Guardian about a year after the Lucifer's destruction and the severing of the Sol jump node. We have been reassigned to the 13th Battlegroup in Deneb to combat the Hammer of Light forces in that system. The Hammer of Light clearly has the upper hand and has taken control of the Deneb communications array, so we cannot call for reinforcements from Vasuda. They are also blockading the node. Our only chance is to break through the node blockade and get a message to the Directorate that way asking for relief. The PVC Rusalka has already engaged the HoL forces at the node, and our wing is being scrambled to reinforce the attack.
