This is the ninth mission of the Procyon Insurgency campaign for Freespace 2. The assault on Procyon has begun. The GTD Minotaur and GVCv Khepri have transited the Adhara-Procyon jump node and encountered heavy resistance. The Procyon side of the node is heavily fortified with Mjolnir remote beam cannons and sentry guns. We have transferred to the 228th Squadron, an elite bomber outfit, and our first mission with the squadron is to suppress the node defenses and then fly cover for allied warships.
