This is the fourth mission of Warmachine, a weapon testbed reskin of Blue Planet: Age of Aquarius. Warmachine is a complete overhaul of Freespace's ships and weapons, with everything turned up to 11. We occupy the character of Commander Samuel Bei of the 222nd Nightwolves, stationed on the GTD Orestes. Having made contact with surviving Terrans in N362 following our pursuit of the GTC Duke, we have been ordered to accompany Captain Iwakura back to her home ship, the Sanctuary, hidden in the stellar gas cloud surrounding the neutron star. The area is too hazardous to safely bring our capital ships in, so our fighter wing is it for first contact.
