Found some time to work on my SubSpace Beam Strike patch. This bit of code has nothing to do with SSBs, but has everything to do with floating beams, which the patch makes possible (albeit mostly to use them for SSB strikes). Beams are now valid as spawned submunitions. In order to test this, I've taken the Slammer and replaced the submunitions with a cluster of modified SBlues. The results are... interesting.
