This is the original Quake 3 Arena from the cd long since disintegrated.
The FT Rink had gravity rules as if pushing skates on the ice so strafe jumping was like leg day. It starts gauntlet only with weapons unlocking as you go. This rink was an early version of some other ones I can't find. Some had music some had CA rules and you could RJ into the bleachers.

nearly forgot how to navigate them lol

Players have asked who I was and I wasn't quick to say so...
My Q3A tags were variations of ^ThrashMaestro or haTebreeders (a misfits song reference) and brief experience in Clan Warmachine and later Druid hosted by heat net gaming servers and later mplayer gaming. We talked about meeting IRL but I never made it to Quake Con. I later heard one of my tags was supposedly stolen after I quit which was kind of creepy. After the name tag ganking that went on I chose random names and had a lot more fun not fighting for a tag every match until quitting around 2003 for RL adulting haha.
To this day I choose a just for fun account for Quake but when I am in a team I do my best to focus on the win and not let my team down.
