Frets On Fire
0This video is probably fairly pointless, since the fun of Frets on Fire is less what you're playing, and more how you play it. To play Frets on Fire you must hold your keyboard like a guitar (not one for laptops!) with the F1-F5 keys as your frets and the enter key as your pick.
It's a Guitar Hero clone, basically, reworked for PCs. It has a song editor (user crafted songs can then be downloaded and shared) and supports importing songs from Guitar Hero 1 and 2, so long as you own the discs. Your scores optionally go on a global online leaderboard and a top 5 is kept locally too.
Frets on Fire is opensource and comes with three songs with instructions on installing more on the website. Downloadable from http://fretsonfire.sourceforge.net/
