The 1990s was the era of the Champions League and the Premier League. We had Juventus dominating UEFA finals, by appearing in four in a row, either side of AC Milan, Ajax, Real Madrid and Manchester United victories. The 90s was the time football should have come home at Euro 1996, but didn't, as Germany won Euro 96 and the 1990 World Cup. Denmark stunned the world at Euro 92, whilst Brazil appeared in successive World Cup finals in 1994 and 1998.
