FridAy-QWorlds - February 27th - Pyrewatch Peak: Fire in the Sky
0I love when people have early birthday parties so I can kill tons of Firestorm soldiers to celebrate!
Today we cover:
- Happy early birthday to Dage! It's a few days early but we're already celebrating with a birthday shop; along with that, on his ACTUAL birthday (Monday) even more awesome Legion items will come to his shop, including the Legion DoomKnight class!
- Friday the 13th is gone for a month, Hero's Heart Day is gone for a year!
- Quibble is also gone, but any items in his shop that were tagged with "Awesome" rarity will return at some point in the Firestorm saga!
- AE occasionally takes the time to make old maps work better, so they're currently rebuilding VordredBoss, which means the Blinding Light of Destiny handle can be found in Arryd's Doomwood Challenge shop for a limited amount of time! Note: As far as I know, the Doomwood Challenge shop is unlocked by getting the "Reinforced" achievement, which means defeating 100 Doomwood enemies in that one room! I guess that's the Challenge then!
- Speaking of AE's technical stuff, there's been an update on the server rewrite: They're currently working on redoing the Stats system, which means stats will be more important (Mages will have to focus on Intellect and Wisdom to do anything good basically, for example). This means they're about halfway through Phase 1 of doing this! Just in case you're not aware yet, Phase 2 will be ALL about adding the things we asked for in 2013 or whatever year it was (such as item previews in the bank, cross-server chatting, and a buyback shop containing AC items you owned at one point but sold or deleted and want to buy back)!
- I don't know if you noticed, I don't even know if I noticed, but Faith has officially moved from Battleon to Northpointe, so all the Beastmasters will have to go there!
- Final Reminder that the AQ: Dragons fanart contest ends on Monday!
- Along with that contest, Akiban New Year and Carnaval are also leaving on Monday! Funny, I didn't even know they came in the first place...
- There's Fire in the Sky at Pyrewatch Peak! Well actually, there's fire EVERYWHERE in the Embersea Isles, but the point is that's the release's name, Fire in the Sky! There's a new badge in this area as well, once you take out 100 of the Firestorm invaders!
