The Royal Navy patrol ship, HMS Severn, arrived home last week after an eight-month deployment to the Caribbean.

Providing security to British Overseas Territories in the area and training with US Forces, Severn visited 29 ports across 20 different counties.

Kate Wathall was in Portsmouth for the homecoming - and there were plenty of families dockside to welcome their loved ones back.
