There are many occasions where a laser scan is an appropriate technique when you are starting a SketchUp project. Examples are: historic preservation, renovations where you can’t measure everything by hand, and projects that include natural features. This workshop will show you how SketchUp can use point cloud data and mesh files while teaching you best practices for bringing those into SketchUp.
