So I have gone from absolutely hating and rage quitting Sekiro like 2 years ago to scouring the gaming world for combat that is as fun yet challenging as Sekiro/Thymesia.

I restarted playing Sekiro a month ago and grinded out a HARD 20 hours just hating it until things finally "clicked".

Once they did, I have been beating bosses that are otherwise acclaimed to be far too difficult, in like 15 attempts max.

Anyways I just wanted to share this, since this I think is maybe my first ever no damage boss run amongst any of these games. I got real close to doing so with maybe both Lady Butterfly and even Genichiro but haven't done so yet.

Btw I still HATE the checkpoint, lack of instant save system in these kinds of games. I hate having to hit 20 trash mobs without taking any daamge to get to the bosses.

Thankfully Thymesia has checkpoints right at the boss themselves but I do wish you could just press a button to retry again rather than take an unnecessary 1-2 minutes of your life on each retry.

This Varg run took me like 35 or so attempts, I was perfecting nearly everything except for that weird roundhouse slash he does, which I eventually ended up just dodging since my brain just couldn't seem to handle the fake timing that the boss gave me. I had flawless attempts prior to that one at least 10 times before this.

I absolutely LOVE this game, and hope the devs make another more improved version to top it!
