I'm back, this time resuming the last batch of From Software retrospective videos that weren't posted before on the channel due to previous hiatus.

So this is King's Field 4, the Playstation 2 European exclusive that fixes the hard combat by enhancing your character's attacks, but taking a bite off of the player by having constant fall deaths and deaths from traps. Just like the original King's Field games, I find this version to be really good and pretty fun to play, although the graphics are definitely a short side to the game itself, it's got a lacking fidelity with certain basic animations and scenario triggers, but oh well, it's pretty good and very high color on pixels as far as I'm concerned for PS2 standards.

So there isn't a lot to talk about this game, it's fun like the previous King's Field titles, but beware of the traps and the hidden mobs, this series is the original From Software dungeon crawler, with Dark Souls being it's stepchild after it married the Armored Core waifu under depression of being fired.
