In this Let's Play for Medieval II: Total War – Americas, we take command of the Apaches – with the ambitious goal of repelling the European invaders and conquering all of North and Central America.
This means: We'll not only face the Spanish and French, but will likely also come into conflict with all the other peoples of Central America over the course of the campaign.
🪶 Faction Introduction – Apaches
The Apaches are a people with a proud warrior tradition. Their units are characterized by high morale and excellent ranged combat skills, but can also hold their own in close combat.
However, they have one crucial disadvantage: no armor. This makes them vulnerable to enemy archers and, above all, firearms – and makes fighting against armored European troops considerably more difficult.
Cavalry is only available to them late in the game, so smart tactics and skillful use of ranged units are crucial.
