In ep 1, we launch into the standard scenario, beginning a new life in an icy crator on an Earth turned to permanent winter. We start by scrounging for coal, wood and steel using our basic gathering posts, then start to build up tents for our society of just plain folks.
Once we have the coal, we fire up the generator to keep us warm, start sending out hunters to catch raw meat, and begin researching new technologies. We see how to progress in Frostpunk gameplay beyond the crater by inventing & sending up a balloon beacon, which will allow us to start sending out scouts in future.
