Well, I’m alive. Considering the SS Continuum was torn from FTL mid-flight and I was ejected into the void, I’d call that a win. The landing was rough, but escape pod is mostly intact. Now I’m floating in the middle of an endless ocean with no land in sight, no supplies, and no way to contact home. Just the wreckage, bobbing in the waves like a graveyard of what was. The GPS and Communications Link didn’t survive the impact. If I ever want to get back home, I'll need to find a way to fix them. I am alone on this planet, but I can’t shake the feeling that I am not the first. Beneath the surface, something stirs. It moves unseen, waiting, watching. The deeper I go, the stronger its presence becomes. It pulses in the ruins below, in the bones of those who came before. The air itself hums with an unnatural energy, whispering at the edge of my perception. I don’t know what happened here or why I was brought to this place, but I know one thing: survival is only the beginning. If I ever hope to escape, I have to uncover the secrets of the Rift, push the limits of technology, and face whatever lurks in the abyss before it finds me first...
