FTL, Faster Than Light - Geneva Convention run livestream
0Playing FTL, Faster Than Light by Subset Games. FTL is a game full of moral choices with little or no consequence for picking the immoral options... so I decided to challenge myself to see if I can win the game while playing as ethically as possible. I'll be playing with the following constraints...
-I must visit every "distress" beacon I see and make an effort to help them.
-I must accept all surrenders offered.
-I must select the most morally sound option in all dialogues or other choices.
-EDIT: I initially said no violent conflict if it can be avoided, but after starting the game, it occurred to me that for an ethical run, it makes sense to engage in violent conflict if it's done to rescue someone, so I kind of adapted my rules on the fly.
Part of the reason I'm doing this is I want to test my new streaming setup, and this seems like a good game to do so. I think it'll be neat to be able to play with a live audience watching. :)
