From my recent Solo Munchlax/Snorlax Speedrun I did for Pokemon Platinum, a run where I acquire Munchlax as early as possible then beat the entire game with it. Absolutely nuts to get a shiny Pokemon without specifically manipulating it, given gen 4 odds are 1/8192.
