0The Japanese version of Bust a Groove is almost identical, but notably it has japanese lyrics in a few songs instead of english. I realized you're only supposed to press *one* of the two dance options, not both. This means I was actually able to beat the first level of the game this time. Of course, I also looked up how to attack, after playing Bust a Groove 2 and learning about attacks. The controls are different but the idea is the same (press attack on the 4th beat).
