445Here we explore a strategy I worked on with the help of YeetBoi from the Bittersteel Discord group.
My prior Byzantium strategies involved fighting essentially the entire world to carve out a piece of the pie for ourselves. This new and improved strategy involves joining the axis, gaining all cores including Italy, the Levant, the Balkans and Egypt and Tunis and having it all completed by 1939, when typical WW2 is just kicking off.
This leaves you in a position to do a world conquest, finish off the allies, invade the Soviet Union or even sail to Canada and attack the USA from the north. The possibilities are endless!
BTW, if you haven't gotten it yet, this is a good way to pick up a few different achievements. Istanbul is Constantinople. Again., I Swear I'm Not a Byzantophile, and if you are willing to take on the Soviets after doing this strat, you can fairly easily get the Bad Romeance Achievement.
