Improvement has been attained drastically for me about Pokkén's fundamentals thanks to Bad Intent's helpful advice and visualizing every match he has with his opponents. Although I still believe that more needs to be done if I ever want to engage with higher skilled player matches. And so recently when I decided to enter ranked battles, aside from the laggy one's, each battle I had personally helped a lot with the things I relied way too excessively on and focused more on a more defensive strategy than what I normally was with SkyKing64. Sometimes you gotta fight with other people to learn more lessons. One of the many formidable opponents I faced online was this A2 rank Garchomp user that definitely knew his [X] setups to a fair extent. This guy was pretty fun to fight. I was honestly expecting to get bodied judging by his online rates shown on the player tag, but in the end despite me getting drilled to oblivion and starting off clumsy, I did good. So that's all that matters. Ok to be fair, Dragonite did most of the work anyway. I like using him because he's fantastic with shield pressure. Gives me time to gain some distance. Not to mention the Garchomp left himself vulnerable numerous times, but he was still REALLY good. Kind of rare to see a Garchomp user like this to begin with. He's not an easy character to master at all. Believe me, I'm trying and it's extremely frustrating

Maybe I'm ready to join the community now
