Fundamentals of a Look Dev Template - Setting Up Lighting Variations
Continue building up your Look Dev template whilst exploring more fundamental workflows of working in Katana. Sophie will show you how to create cameras and adjust render settings, before delving into lighting setups using the GafferThree node. You’ll learn how to make use of Katana’s Graph State Variables to set up scene variations, in this case, three distinct lighting conditions: cloudy, sunny, and interior. You will also learn how to set up the light rotation for your turntable so that any lights added will rotate 360° within a specified frame range.
