Funky Farm Rhythm Game University animation project
My second year project
Using 3d animation for the first time, I created a toony silly world of dancing animals moving to the rhythm of Space Channel 5, one of my most favourite games of all time. I have tried to implement a "time gauge" that tells you how much time the player or the animal has to perform a series of moves. Unlike the original game where you input button commands, this game was designed to have the player physically move to the rhythm, hence the silence between the animal commands.
I have also combined 2d animation techniques in terms of the game's HUD and particle effects via After Effects.
Cinema 4d is painful :/ the program is more buggy than I thought, but its industry standard, so I guess I gotta keep pushing ahead with it....
