Future of the Channel, Student Union's Delayed Release from 2022 to 2023
46The retirement of FlareBlitzed is more likely than not to be sooner than you expected, throughout 2021 asides from Purgatory 2, this channel has made next to zero progression with VTubers indirectly being the main catalyst towards the channel's lack of progression. There's only so much watch time and with a lot of watch time now diverted to VTubers, that's taken away a lot of potential growth that my channel, along with other channels with similar size and non-anime character representation are suffering through.
Lastly, which is the final nail in the coffin is that Student Union, the game that I wanted to play as the final game before I retire has been delayed, ultimately this is a wise decision made by the developers, if you feel that your game can't be ready by a certain time, then extend the deadline and this is better done sooner rather than later. This though has put a unique problem with me as I do not feel that channels like mine will have any kind of traction when 2023 comes along. VTubers by then will have monopolised the gaming space, along with encroaching other categorises of videos outside of digital media, which makes channels like mine completely invalid.
With all of this, because of the lack of new games coming out, the lack of motivation due to the channel's lack of success, the overwhelming presence of VTubers along with the over-popularity, and finally Student Union's release being delayed, it's put things into consider that there's no future for the channel.
