Future World (2018) Movie Review - Lore-free worldbuilding?
1,856I know you can only put so much information in 90 minutes, which is why novels tend to outdo movies in deep storytelling... but there is the old saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words" and if done right, a moving picture can convey a whole lot of depth to the tale.
Future World is not one of those pictures.
A 2018 science fiction adventure co-directed by James Franco, Future World says that the queen is sick, so the prince goes on a quest to get her the medicine, but a warlord is making things difficult. The names of these characters are: Queen, Prince, and Warlord.
No, it doesn't get any more complicated from there.
