After years of accusations, an internal investigation prompted by Factorio developer Wube Software has revealed that sellers on the G2A Marketplace were guilty of selling illegally obtained keys. The company has since paid nearly $40,000 to the developer before apologizing and confirming that future preventative measures would be taken to prevent this action.
