1995 was a good year for games, inasmuch as it produced the second outing for Jane Jensen's Gabriel Knight. The hereditary shadow-hunter and author, who was thrown bodily into the world of the genuinely supernatural.

Unlike Sins of the Fathers (which is an absolute classic), this was done using FMV, with Dean Erickson taking the lead in place of Tim Curry. It sits above most FMV efforts for me, not least because of the care with which actual locations were used and for the mixture of German and German-speaking actors, some of whom you may have seen in tv and movies.
