Gadget Racers PS2 Multiplayer Gameplay (ZOO Digital / Takara) Tracks 1 - 4 [Part 1 of 2]
4In this video we test out Gadget Racers on the Playstation 2 by ZOO. The multiplayer mode allows you to race through the 7 tracks on offer, aswel as the bonus Soccer style game at the end.
As Gadget Racers is a budget title, we werent expecting much. The main issue we found was with the controls. The cars ability to turn corners was non existant, and anything from a 90degree angle just meant you were going to grind up the wall very slowly until your car straightened out.
Putting the controls aside, your left with a very well planned game. Each level consists of many alternate routes. And theres a lot to keep you entertained. Multiplayer mode is quite challenging, and the terrible controls actually add to the excitement. The games soundtrack is acceptable, its not spectacular, but it is fitting for the game.
All in all, Gadget Racers Multiplayer mode is a pretty good game, but please stay tuned for the story mode, as the game takes on quite a different turn and introduces rpg elements.
