So if your galaxy note 5 is not charging your going to first want to
1. Try using multiple outlets with different usb cords to make sure neither of them are the issue
2. If your trying to use a wireless charger it might just be that its not working (there are lots of third party brands selling these types of chargers, and a lot of the time they just don't work the way there supposed too)
3. Check to make sure there is no debris in the charging port blocking it from connecting and charging properly
4. If your galaxy note 5 is not charging even after those tips you might want to plug it in and let it sit for an hour or so. I've found this to work every now and then to just let it sit on the charger for awhile and it will sometimes just start to charge
5. If your still having no luck you might just have a bad batter which can happen since this phone uses a lithium ion battery like most phones. You will have to contact samsung or your provider to see what kind of warranty or insurance you currently have on your note 5 to see about getting a replacement battery
