Galaxy Note Initial Impressions
http://aroundthetech.com
Let's take a look at the AT&T Galaxy Note. This monster sports a 5.3" 1280x800 pixel Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual core snapdragon processor, an 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, and AT&T LTE. My test model came in carbon blue although AT&T also offers a ceramic white version. Specs aside, the note felt other android devices I have used in the past, albiet with a much larger screen. I'm still trying to decide how useful the ultra sized display is but suffice it to say media playback is quite good. The biggest feature to me with the note is the S-Pen which allows for handwritten text input as well as finite drawing controls.
Check back later for a full review of the Note as well as a definitive look at the 'phablet' category.
