This is an initial demo of my Game Boy mod to utilize it as an NES controller. It uses the original Game Boy internals and only requires removing two diodes and a capacitor, adding a handful of resistors, then running a few wires to hook everything up using the white ribbon cable initially meant to connect the button/LCD daughterboard to the mainboard. The CD4021 shift register from an original NES controller is used as well (although I could have purchased one online, they're still readily available from most online electronics wholesalers).
