Back in the day it was actually possible to rent video game consoles from stores like Blockbuster. It gave you a chance to try things out before going all in and buying a new console. When you did this, the console would usually be provided to you in a large protective carrying case to prevent things from becoming damaged.

The stores which once rented these consoles are unfortunately all but a memory now, but these cases remain as relics of a much different time. Join me today as we check out rental cases for all sorts of retro consoles, including the Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega CD, Sony PlayStation, TurboGrafx 16, and GameCube!
