1,240It's a tale as old as time, a developer trains a new co-worker, then gets fired and is replaced by the person he/she trained... with a twist. This time it's game designers at Candy Crush creator King and the replacement... it's the AI they've been training.
Yes, Microsoft weren't content with massive profits and thus needed to fire over 9000! (insert Vegeta meme here) employees across the Xbox and gaming divisions and that included cuts at King, which they acquired as part of the Activision purchase. So who get the ax? The developers that have been helping to teach the AI systems of course!
