🔴Game Maker Studio 2 | Advanced - Cheap wind effect
This video tutorial shows you how to achieve a simple wind skewing effect on objects in gamemaker studio. The idea behind it is to use the "draw_sprite_pos" function and skrew the two top corner to the right or left.
Note that this is not the most efficient way to handle that problem. But for small projects or only a few object used in this manner, this is already a decent way to achieve the wind effect shown in this video tutorial. Advanced users can do this wind effect with shaders which is more complicated but defently more efficient.
