Todays Game Of The Day Is Sonic Adventure #shorts #retrogaming #sonicthehedgehog

Originally released in 1999 as one of the original launch titles for the sega dreamcast. Sonic Adventure was the first successful attempt at getting a fully 3D sonic game after the sega saturn failed and sega had to shift everything to the dreamcast. The gameplay would go on to be featured in numerous sonic games including sonic adventure 2, sonic heroes, sonic 06, sonic the hedgehog 4, and lastly sonic generations. It was around 2016 when sega started to shift back to the roots of sonic with sonic mania and go back to the 2d style of gameplay. But with the new open world sonic game coming out this year i'm curious as to how they have updated the controls and i really hope they learned their lesson from sonic 06.
