Next up — The Last Case of Benedict Fox drops on April 27 onto Console, PC, and Cloud. The game is gorgeous and was a little difficult for me when I played the beta. I died a lot. Most likely due to me just being bad at the game. But I think many are going to enjoy this one.
Dive into a twisted world of secret organizations, forbidden rituals, and cold-blooded murders. Explore the memories of deceased victims as you search for clues and fight demons in this fantastical Lovecraftian Metroidvania.
Last up this week, we have the fighting game BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition coming to Console, PC, and CLoud. Another Japanese title hitting gamepass as we see Xbox taking the Asian gaming market very seriously in their ongoing efforts to expand their reach.

The big story this week. The CMA this Wednesday is Expected to Approve Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard King. The Uk’s competition and markets Authority Did a complete 180 in March, announcing that it no longer had any concerns about the Acquisition's threat to the console gaming market, leaving only the concern for cloud gaming left on the table. And as we all know, Microsoft has had a lot of recent deals with cloud gaming providers making the CMAs only sticking point less of an issue.
Next up: Aaron Greenberg took to Twitter, relaying to fans that Hi_Fi Rush was indeed a breakout hit for Xbox after rumors surfaced claiming otherwise. I Love Hi-Fi Rush, and If you have not played it I highly recommend what I consider to be a Game of the Year contender.
Speaking of Aaron Greenberg. He made an appearance at The Community Indie Showcase 2023, letting viewers know about 4 games he is excited about that are dropping into Game Pass this year. He mentioned Cassette Beasts, The Last Case of Benedict Fox, Ravenlok, and Hollow Knight Solksong. In a Forza.Net blog post, we got a small update on Forza Motorsport. For anyone questioning if it will release this year, here is what was said on the blog post.
While we're focused on polishing and preparing Forza Motorsport for release later this year, we’re still keen to hear your feature and track requests; we can keep in mind what you want to see most for the future.
I expect they will reveal the release date at the Xbox Showcase on June 11th.
Last up, if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the Xbox mini fridge. Now might be a good time. Version 2 of the mini Fridge is smaller than the original, holding 8 cans of your favorite beverage, aka beer vs Version 1 carried 12 cans and was apparently much louder. The fridge is normally $80 bucks but is now $40 at your local Walmart.
