Game Reviews: Poly Bridge 2 and Towers of Everland for MacOS & iOS - New Indie Releases!
29Hello every gaming bodayyyyy! Well, we have something a little bit different for you today; my co-host O.K. seanthegoneone and I (Culveyhouse) are reviewing two different games available on MacOS, Windows, and iOS! We'll show ya if these games are even worth your time/or money, or if you should go out and play something else when you’re totally bored.
The game I played was Poly Bridge 2 for MacOS and Windows, available on Steam. It was developed by Dry Cactus out of New Zealand. Poly Bridge 2 is fueled by the success of their first game, Poly Bridge and is their second release. Both are basically physics simulators, where the player must build a bridge in order to get some sort of vehicle(s) to the other side of aforementioned bridge. As you get farther along, the levels get increasingly difficult and newer materials are introduced and used for new tasks. The game itself is $15, which for the type of game it is in 2020 is a bit much, but still enjoyable!
As for Sean, he reviewed a game called Towers of Everland, off of the Apple Arcade. Because this game is on the Apple Arcade, it can be played on any Apple device (i.e. iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac). It is a very basic RPG where the player can choose between four basic characters, such as a warrior or mage, and clear multiple towers throughout the land. Towers of Everland is also free to play on all of these platforms, but should you actually play it? Sean’s critique of the game suggests that you probably should look for a different RPG, otherwise you’ll literally die from boredom.
