A batch of pre-applied AR & Gecko widescreen cheats/hacks for the Nintendo Gamecube was released recently by Warped Polygon so I checked em out. There's a big list of games already converted with more coming, I chose the forced 16:9 hacks with no screen stretching. These games look great in 16:9, the diffrence from 4:3 is remarkable! The hardware is being pushed more to draw in more geometry, assets etc. plus some games have had their draw distance/culling completely disabled, allowing everything, even beyond the FOV to be drawn and rendered. Just drop the .ini files in the GameSettings folder of Dolphin and yer away....Games have been upscaled to 2K, Anisotropic Filtering, per pixel lighting and-24 Bit color enabled. Running on the Vulkan backend.
