Reviewer's Thoughts:

Long ago, in a time where this game was at its highest [2009, I believe], it stood as one of the most played Third-Person Shooters out there that was free to play! It was amazing, for the player(s) out there had the chance to unlock permanent weapons and skills, as well as had the chance to unlock permanent clothing. Not only that, but the idea was fresh as well. A shooter that had parkour elements within it, it gained the reputation as a stylish shooting sports, in which one can do flipping rolls around left and right while shooting down their opponents. A solid shop system with gambling and a balance between real-money and in-game money items actually made sense: If one was going to use money in this game, then they would just use it as a boost in the battlefield; a way to have an advantage against their counterpart, while the in-game money users had perm items that balanced out the pay-to-win system! Not to mention, the graphics were phenomenal and outstanding at the time, maintaining that equilibrium between Gameplay and Graphics.

However, as time passed, so did the company's policies and generosity. Everything changed with the release of Patch 10, in which the permanent items began to become Timed gear... Although this released a new mode called "Chaser," in which one random player goes on a killing spree while the others survive with state-of-the-art parkour skills, the graphics was remade to where the game was on "performance based" settings in order to make the game run faster, lowering the quality of the game that everyone loved. Permanently. This alone brought the game's current rating down in everyones' book, especially mine, in what would be one of the most successful F2P Third-Person MMO Shooter Game.

Oh, but that's not all.... Alaplaya/Pentavision kept going with this tactic, believing that it will work.... And it still works today, in their point of view, according to their "sales" line (now that they have global control of the game's release to the global public)! With each upcoming patch, they released (and even still in current times) capsules, in which was only available by using Real Money Cash to get even one little capsule. Sure, they released some capsules here and there as PEN to try even the competition, but that did not happen until about 10-15 patches later. They still have not released more new PEN Capsule releases since a season patch that I long forgotten.... btw, season patches suck.

Lots of issues were addressed about the lag and hackers, and I have to admit, some of them were solved. However, hackers still remained in the game, in which in the current events of S4 League, they're still here! Did all the GMs and CMs literally die of simultaneous heart attacks, in which led to all these hackers running rampant around the entire in-game community!? I suppose so, which explains why the majority of the community are in the forums, afraid of entering in the actual cybernetic game world of S4 League that is now full of hackers around, trampling the innocent new and actual professional players of this game.

Hell, one of the saddest things the devs did was implement a vote system..... ONLY TO DROP IT LATER ON IN THE UPDATES!! The Vote system was one of the efforts to try to fix the system of S4 League in terms of all the hacking and lagging issues. However, now that it has been recently dropped from the game permanently, what is the entire point of playing this game anyways when it has been utterly broken to where it is not even fixable anymore!? Take a shot at me!! Why continue to play an unfixable garbage of an MMO Game other than the reason why to keep playing is because of the friends you've made in that game!?

My last words about this game is that to all the viewers and current or future MMO Creators out there that is reading and/or listening (and even playing this game) that are trying to create or maintain their own respective MMO Games, do not end up like S4 League. Seriously, this game is one of the perfect examples of how to quickly make your game turn into serious garbage, even with a perfect start, especially with a management team that is literally dead silent and a money-grabbing company that has shut its eyes completely away from its loyal consumers, whom are trying to help them improve the game!
