For the past couple years, AI has dominated the tech industry, largely in regards to GPUs, rendering the cost (for many) unacceptable. This has led to NVIDIA being turned aside, with other GPU companies coming into play just a little. For example, AMD with their 6900XT. For a 4 GB GDDR6 difference, is it really worth upgrading from a 4090 vs a 5090? For the majority of gamers, the answer is apparently no. All those benchmark and performance tests are worthless if nobody can afford not to finance such products.
