-- Disclaimer at the end of the video --

Virtual pets is one of those genres of games that aren't particularly popular and are usually limited quite a bit in terms of gameplay. There are quite a lot of web-based games about adoption, care and even battle oriented (Pokemon?). But with a few exceptions, many of these pet games fall quite short after some time of playing. Such is the case of our next game in the list: Dogz.

Developed by PF Magic and released in 1995, this game marks the beginning of an entire genre of games that is still even now days. PF Magic also released a few other pet-oriented games ever since Dogz came out, with different animals to adopt as pets (including human babies apparently, which... shouldn't be called pets, looks like a rumor though so take this with a grain of salt).

In this demo of Dogz, you have very limited things to do with your pet. To begin with, you are just allowed to play it as a pre-adoption step, in which you play a little with the pet before adopting, and pick each one of the little furballs to play a bit.

Not much other than the ball is available, so you can play throw-and-catch with any of the dogs there. The dogs themselves are silly looking but cute nevertheless, and have some funny behaviours when they are left alone for a little.

Enjoy!
