Today I am taking a quick initial look at Games From Space, a platform with an app that you can use to mine crypto with your GPU. Instead of receiving the cryptocurrency directly you can get video games for free. Check it out yourself here:

As far as I understood this isn't an actual Dapp/ decentralized app running on the blockchain.
It's a normal app that facilitates the mining of cryptocurrencies.
I haven't tested it out myself but if it works decently and you can receive games for an amount of crypto that justifies spending your GPU capacity I can definitely see long term potential
