GameStop has a problem with consistency with employee training, each worker should know how to do the same job duties. If I am promised something by one employee I expect that word to be kept to me, the customer. A GameStop employee tried to pull a fast one on me and I didn't accept it and you shouldn't either.

If you pre-purchase a console or something else and GameStop promises you that you will be able to trade in another system for money back on your new purchase in the method you used to pay the pre-purchase, don't let them just try to give you your money back in what is convenient for THEM, no no no, you are the customer, you should get paid back in the way it was originally promised you: The method you had already paid.

If I pay with my credit card, I expect that my re-fund/money back will go back on my credit card, not in a cash return.

I used GameStop to get the best deal on my New 3DS XL, but they really made sure it was a difficult process and made me work to get my money back the way it was promised me.

Don't let GameStop screw you over friends.
