I have been a patron of @SKTheCrusader for a while now, and have long admired their wholehearted commitment to interrogating a subject when making a video.

So I knew what I was getting into when I suggested 'Gamer Culture, and what the left can do about it' as a potential topic for a future video.

SK then released their excellent video 'Gamers: Are They The Left's Problem', and lightly jibed me for what they felt was a slightly "2013-ass" subject, before going about the business of thoroughly covering it.

One of the few questions that arose unanswered, was 'Why did they (me) suggest this topic?', Though SK did acknowedge that the question was there to be answered.

It got my brain firing about what had made me think of it, why I cared, and what I thought the 'Left' if there is so cohesive a thing, should do about the perceived state of gamer culture.

Certainly, there are issues with gamer cutlture that go back a long time now, such as the rampant use of right wing language and talking points, and its young people that are being steeped in it.

So lets talk about it.
