Gaming For Mental Health | Trying Prince of Persia for the first time since MSDOS
Thanks for Nvidia Geforce Now for providing the key!
My first ever game was actually the MSDOS release of Prince or Persia, but despite that, I've not touched the series since. So join me as I dive back in, 28 years later!
This stream is part of #GamingForMentalHealth2024! A charity fundraising event I launched to celebrate my sister's memory and to support mental health organisations around the globe.
If you are struggling with your own mental health, asking for help can be hard. Trust me, I know. But it's the best thing you can do. The stream chat is one way, but friends, family or professionals are the best places to turn to when able. Here you can find a list of international hotlines https://www.timberglingfoundation.org/get-help
This year, the event is raising money for three different organisations. Please donate if you are able to any or all of them.
The organisations we’re supporting this year are:
The Swedish organisation Tilia, who have their own chat hotline and focus on mental health in youth and young adults in Sweden. They were detrimental in my sister's life and she not only received a lot of help from them but also volunteered herself.

The Tim Bergling Foundation, who work with lawmakers to push mental health into the political landscape, funds mental health organisations, including BRIS, a hotline for children in Sweden, as well as research.

Safe In Our World who works for better mental health in the video game community and industry, by providing training, toolkits research and more in the fields of mental health.

If you make a donation, be sure to not do it anonymously. If I have a way to contact you, you're entered into the Donors Only giveaways, where we have hundreds of games and codes to give away. These will be drawn after the event. You can also enter by donating to any other participating stream. But, only one entry per person will count to keep it fair.
